…And perhaps, love is best understood in silence when no words are spoken at all.
…And perhaps, love is best understood in silence when no words are spoken at all.
Love is something everyone believes they understand, yet no one can fully comprehend. Each person attaches a different meaning to love; for some, it’s excitement; for others, a sense of peace or even a habit. However, love cannot be confined to a single definition. Sometimes, it manifests in a smile, and at other times, it reveals itself in deep silence.
People find many things attractive. A French accent, intelligence, the thrill of adrenaline—love is not only about grand and glamorous moments but also about simple moments hidden in time. Feeling the warmth of the sun at sunrise, sensing the presence of a loved one without saying a word, or understanding each other through unspoken silence—these are all expressions of love.
The most intriguing aspect of love is its unpredictability. You never know when, where, or how it will appear. Sometimes, it begins with someone you’ve known for a long time; other times, it finds you in the most unexpected moment. Perhaps in front of the Fountain of Love in Rome, perhaps on the streets of Paris, or maybe in the quiet alleys of a rainy evening.
Firsts are always special. They are unforgettable. However, the endings are never predictable because love does not come with a map to show where and when you will meet someone. The real challenge is that people often fail to realize when they have found love.
Maybe that’s why love is not in grand sentences but in the smallest moments. In a time of distress, in the sound that echoes within your heart… And perhaps, love is best understood in silence when no words are spoken at all.
